Booking Policy

We are more flexible than ever, giving you peace of mind when booking with Sea Change Apartments.

  1. Cancellation. Please note free cancellation up until 48 hours prior to your arrival date. A charge of 100% of the total booking amount for cancellations within the 48 hour window are applicable. Rates are chargable within 48 hours of arrival and subject to booking terms and conditions. Travel insurance should be considered with all booking options. Sea Change will not cover cancellations associated with: Covid 19, cancelled flights, road closures, weather events, illness, work commitments or change of mind. For third party agent bookings (Booking .com, Expedia, Airbnb, Qantas etc) please refer to your agent website for the relevant cancellation policy. If you fail to show for your reservation or wish to depart early, no refunds will be given.

  2. Booking modifications. If you would like to modify a booking or update any of the details, please contact reception during office hours or by email.

  3. Non-refundable bookings. All non-refundable bookings are to be paid in full at the time of booking. No amendments, cancellations or refunds will be provided.

  4. Arrivals & Departures. Check-in time to your apartment is from 2.00pm and Check-out time is by 10.00am. To ensure we deliver the best possible service, please notify us of your arrival and departure times as this will help us to deliver the best possible service to you.If you are arriving outside of reception hours, please let us know and we can provide a convenient after hours check in. We are very happy to store your luggage for early arrivals and late departures.

  5. Check-in Policy. At the time of your check-in, you will be required to provide a valid credit card, which will be held as security on your apartment.

  6. Your Sea Change Apartment. By making a reservation with Sea Change Beachfront Apartments, you should be aware that you are booking a self-contained apartment. A self-contained apartment provides for all of its own facilities including cooking, cleaning and normal household equipment. This enables our guests to self-serve their own needs such as supplying their own groceries and cleaning products and laundering clothes etc. As part of our service to you, we complete a mid-stay service for bookings exceeding seven nights, where we supply fresh linen and towels. In cases where you stay less than seven days, your apartment is well-equipped with a washing machine, clothes dryer and many other household items you would find in standard home. Sea Change will prepare your apartment with a starter kit of cleaning equipment and basic essentials, you are welcome to visit the local supermarket to purchase any additional items as required.

  7. Guest numbers. At the time of the booking, the number of guests nominated with your booking will apply. If the number of guests are increased, please contact reception, as charges may be applicable. Sea Change has a duty of care to ensure the safety of guests, it is important that the number of guests does not exceed the predetermined capacity for that apartment in an apartment. At all times, with regard to emergency management planning, we must know how many guest are staying with us in our apartments.

  8. Events and functions. Sea Change is a holiday apartment’s facility and as such is not set-up to host special functions and events, which are not permitted on the property. We have a strict no party policy.

  9. Smoke-free Apartments. Sea Change Beachfront Apartments is a non smoking property however your right to smoke outdoors is respected and your decision not to smoke inside is appreciated.

  10. Departing your Apartment. We take pride in the presentation of our facility and this ensures all of our guest have a wonderful time with us at Sea Change. As part of your responsibility as our guest, please depart your apartment by ensuring it is left in a clean and reasonable condition. Additional cleaning charges may apply if the apartment is left in an unacceptable condition and if there is any damage sustained to the property and/or its contents.

  11. Liability. Sea Change accepts no responsibility for personal items left on the property during or after departure, that are lost or stolen. Sea Change will not accept liability funor any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses and disruptions caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control. We do not accept liability for error omissions, default or negligence represented on our website. We do not accept liability for changes made due to refurbishing, renovation and alteration of the property.
